At the start of a new decade its becoming more evident as to why black women are no longer the greatest commodity in our culture, blame it on, “The Sista Girl Neck.” The term itself is used to describe many different attitudes, gestures, actions and behavioral patternsĀ of the black woman. In our popular culture the saying men are the new women has been stated and agreed upon. But the inverse is also true. To every cause there is an effect. Women have worked hard to become equal to men. Being equal means the same, so when you are the same and get treated the same its only fair that you also take on the same responsibilities.
